Chef Thomas Kelly
We are excited to have Chef Thomas Kelly leading our culinary team this year. The last two seasons he has been the Sous Chef at LochenHeath helping to design and prepare our delicious meals. While not born or raised in Traverse City, he has adopted it as his hometown. As graduate of NMC's Great Lakes Culinary Institute, his career in the culinary industry spans 25 years. It includes experience in some of the areas most respected kitchens such as Hattie's and Tapawingo.
We are looking forward to Chef Thomas bringing his passion to a menu developed with Northern Michigan’s bounty in mind, using local farmers, growers, and producers. Expect to see our herb garden blooming again and peppering the menu with flavor.
When not in the kitchen designing and cooking meals, he enjoys spending time in the woods with his wife of 25 years, searching for new inspirations.
