California Guitar Trio to Benefit Munson Hospice

The sounds of California strum for a good cause this Friday to give a local hospice a boost.Munson Hospice serves a 12-county region in Northwest lower Michigan, assisting approximately 700 patients a year. On average they have about an $800-per-patient shortfall (half a million dollars annually). The not-for-profit organization has to rely on just a handful of fundraisers each year to make up the difference. One of those fundraisers is the Chip In For Hospice on Friday, September 20 at LochenHeath Golf Course (just north of the Grand Traverse Resort). The 18-hole scramble with a shotgun start tees off at 12:45 pm with check in at 10:30 followed by lunch.After golf there is a dinner followed by a concert by the California Guitar Trio (CGT).
